I’m 66 year old native Floridian with numerous dark spots on my skin. Until today, I had never seen a dermatologist. I’ve always been a little skeptical about having spots removed or biopsied because I’ve observed many people who seem to always be having this done. I had a great experience with Dr. Dane at Modern Dermatology. I came in interested in anti-aging treatments and specifically wanted to learn more about Fractional CO2 laser resurfacing. What I appreciated most was Dr. Dane’s honest and conservative approach. Instead of recommending the procedure right away, he prescribed a facial cream and suggested I return closer to winter when Fractional CO2 treatments would be more appropriate. He took the time to explain the benefits, timing, and expected results, and I never felt pressured into doing anything before it made sense. The entire staff was friendly, professional, and made the visit very comfortable. It’s refreshing to find a dermatologist who truly puts the patient’s best interests first.
