Will I be awake during the procedure?
Yes. All ModernLift procedures are performed under "Awake Local Anesthesia." You will be completely numb and relaxed with light oral sedation.
How long is the downtime?
Most patients return to social activities within a few weeks. We provide comprehensive post-op care to minimize swelling and bruising.
Where are the scars hidden?
Incisions are placed within the natural contours of the ear and the hair. Once healed, they are extremely difficult to see, even with short hair.
How long do the results last?
A facelift provides long-lasting, natural-looking rejuvenation, but it does not stop the aging process. Most patients enjoy their results for many years, depending on individual factors. Longevity varies based on skin quality, genetics, lifestyle habits (such as sun exposure, smoking, weight fluctuations), and how well you maintain your skin over time. Many patients choose to support their results with non-surgical treatments like skincare, lasers, or injectables. While you will continue to age, you will always look younger than if you had never had the procedure.
Am I too young for the ModernLift?
There is not a specific "right age" for a facelift. It is more about your anatomy and goals than your number. Some patients consider a facelift earlier when they begin to notice skin laxity, loss of jawline definition, or early jowling that does not respond well to non-surgical treatments. In these cases, a more tailored surgical approach can provide subtle, natural-looking results.
